I had a wonderful stay at Emerald Palm Courtyard Hotel. The hotel is clean, peaceful, and located in a perfect area close to many attractions in Stone Town. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and relaxing.

Lovely stay with friendly staff in a good location+ The hotel is in a 150 year old building, giving it true Stonetown character. Lovely interiors in the bedrooms, with complimentary dates and tea. Good breakfast served fresh to order in the courtyard outside. Hotel is within walking distance to key areas...− Given the building is old, there are small cracks/gaps around the windows which would allow insects/mosquitos in if you do not spray the room well (there is not mosquito mesh covering these)
